    BREAKING NEWS: Boy Fined LD$10,000 in Porkpa for Broadcasting “Breaking of the Bush” in Public

    Grand Cape Mount, October 6, 2025-Traditional leaders in Porkpa, Grand Cape Mount County have fined a boy (not identified) $10,000 Liberian Dollars for allegedly broadcasting a local movie titled, “Breaking of the Bush in public”.

    The fine was imposed following investigation speared headed by traditional and local leaders. Locals say the individual is said to have played the move in an open area, sparking concerns among traditional and local leaders.

    According to onlookers, traditional authorities, headed by the community Zoes stepped in, stating that the alleged individual’s actions were in direct conflict with established community standards with regard to culture and tradition.

    The individual in question cooperated with authorities during investigations which reportedly conclude that the boy pays LD$10,000 as a penalty for broadcasting what the Zoes said was a prohibited movie in public “Breaking of the Bush” is a Liberian movie directed by Frank Artus.
