    Monrovia, Liberia- Wednesday, October 22, 2025-The Ministry of Transport, in collaboration with the National Road Fund, is taking a significant step towards enhancing road safety in Liberia.

    The Ministry has embarked on an innovative campaign to install state-of-the-art electronic billboards across Monrovia, broadcasting crucial road safety videos to the public. These digital displays aim to educate drivers, passengers, and pedestrians on best practices, promoting a culture of safety on Liberia’s roads.

    The electronic billboards according to the National Road Fund will serve as a vital tool in the Ministry’s efforts to reduce accidents and promote responsible road behavior.

    Through the provision of real-time information and safety messages, the Ministry hopes to minimize the risk of accidents and create a safer environment for all road users.

    The Ministry’s initiative ensures that everyone has access to life-saving information, regardless of their smartphone ownership or internet connectivity.

    By leveraging electronic billboards, the Ministry can reach a wider audience, maximizing the impact of its road safety campaign.

    The installation of electronic billboards is a significant step towards enhancing road safety in Liberia, harnessing technology and innovative communication strategies, the Ministry of Transport is poised to make a lasting impact on the country’s road safety landscape.

    By promoting road safety awareness and education, the Ministry of Transport is working towards creating a safer and more responsible driving culture in Liberia.

    According to the World Health Organization (WHO), approximately 1.35 million people die every year as a result of road traffic crashes. Road safety awareness can help reduce the number of fatalities and injuries on the roads.
