Voinjama City, Lofa County – The Liberia Football Association (LFA), through its Lofa Sub-Association, has concluded a three-day intensive football administration training in Voinjama. The training, which ran from October 16-18, 2025, is aimed at strengthening the administrative foundation of football across the county, officials of LFA have said.

Amos Kpalia, Coordinator of the LFA Lofa Sub-Association said a total of 45 football officials from the eleven administrative districts of Lofa County participated in the training. The participants, comprised both men and women, were certified as football administrators and are now expected to play vital roles in managing football clubs and district teams ahead of the upcoming Electoral District League.

Amos noted that this is the first time such a large number of football administrators have been trained in Lofa County, a milestone he said underscores the association’s commitment to enhancing grassroots football governance.

At the end of the workshop, participants received certificates of completion from the Liberia Football Association. Many of them expressed gratitude to the LFA for organizing the training, describing it as a timely intervention that will improve the management of football activities across the county.

The capacity-building program comes as Lofa County prepares for the much-anticipated Electoral District League, where these newly certified administrators are expected to make meaningful contributions to the growth and development of sports.
