    Fire Victims Receive Huge Assistance From County Legislator

    Kru Town,Kiawu Clan, Tewor District, Grand Cape Mount County-Thursday, October 23,2025-Grand Cape Mount County Senator Simeon Taylor has donated an array of development –oriented supplies to fire victims of Kru Town following an unfortunate fire incident.

    The items donated include among others, 26 bundles of 28 gauge Zincs,2 Cartoons of Zinc nails, rice and LRD.$50,000 to the affected families. According to Senator Taylor the cost of the granted items is approximately USD $5,000.

    For starters, on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at the hour of 10:00 PM or thereabout, fire destroyed the homes twenty-six family heads; burning to ashes all of both their houses and personal belongings leaving them with nothing but thin air.

    Since the incident, the Liberia National Fire Service Bureau is yet to establish the cause of the fire though no human casualties was experienced and reported.

    However, teams from both the Liberia National Red Cross Society and the National Disaster Management Agency have visited the scene of the incident, taken statistics of the level of destruction, numbers of families made homeless and properties damaged.

    Be that as it may, it is important to highlight that the fire disaster, Senator Taylor is the first public official to identify with the Kru Town victims.

    In his words “I have come to identify with you our citizens, having heard about your ordeal,” melancholically remarked Senator Taylor.

    That said, the recipients lauded the Senator and prayed that God will continue multiply onto him.

    They assured him, they are fully ready to support him in whatsoever future endeavor he may wish to undertake.
