River Gee County | Dec. 1, 2025 | The Kuncare Foundation has unveiled an ambitious slate of development and humanitarian initiatives for the people of River Gee County as part of its 2025 Christmas outreach, reaffirming its expanding role in local empowerment and social welfare.

The announcement was made on December 1 during an interview on The Gee Morning Rise, a flagship program on Voice of River Gee 91.1 FM in Fish-Town.

Appearing as guest, the foundation’s River Gee County Chairman, Maxlord Hanson, outlined the organization’s plans and emphasized that the Christmas package reflects the foundation’s ongoing dedication to “community upliftment, economic opportunity, and social inclusion.

Chairman Hanson disclosed that the foundation will formally dedicate a newly constructed modern packing station for the Federation of Road Transport Union in River Gee.

The facility, considered a long-awaited improvement for transport workers, is expected to streamline vehicle movement, enhance coordination among commercial drivers, and spur economic activity within the county’s growing transport sector.

“This project is about strengthening systems that support livelihoods,” Hanson noted. “When transportation improves, everything else from business to access to services also improves.”

In one of its largest youth-targeted efforts this year, the Foundation will distribute 100 motorcycles to members of the Motorcyclists Transport Union.

Sample of the 100 Motorcycles purchased by the Foundation soon to be distributed amongst the County’s youth as part of the Kuncare Foundation economic empowerment program for River Gee County.

The initiative follows a ride-and-pay model, enabling beneficiaries to eventually own the motorcycles after repaying only 50 percent of the purchase price.

Hanson explained that the approach is intended to expand economic independence among young people who rely on commercial riding for income.

“This is not just a giveaway; it is an empowerment tool designed to help riders build assets, create stability, and sustain themselves,” he said.

Complementing the motorcycle distribution, the Kuncare Foundation will also provide 200 reflective safety jackets to riders across the county.

The jackets, Hanson emphasized, are vital for nighttime visibility and accident prevention, addressing a longstanding concern in remote communities where road lighting is limited.

Beyond infrastructure and economic support, the foundation is also focusing on social initiatives. Hanson announced that a countywide Children’s Christmas Party will be held on December 25.

He said the event aims to offer a joyful and secure setting for children during the holiday season, keeping them engaged, protected, and involved in positive activities.

Hanson further revealed that the Foundation’s Chief Executive Officer, Cllr. Kunkunyon Teh, will soon embark on a countywide listening and engagement tour, with special attention to communities in Nenee, Tienpo Statutory District.

Here a groundbreaking ceremony is in progress for added community development by the Kuncare Foundation.

The tour will provide an opportunity for the CEO to interact directly with residents, assess pressing community needs, and reinforce the Foundation’s ties with local stakeholders.

During the radio program, several callers phoned in to commend the Foundation and extend appreciation to Cllr. Teh through Chairman Hanson.

Residents described the initiatives as “timely,” “impactful,” and “a clear sign of progress,” urging the Foundation to continue its developmental drive in River Gee.

With its combination of economic empowerment, infrastructure development, road safety support, and social outreach, the Kuncare Foundation’s 2025 Christmas package is being widely regarded as one of the most comprehensive and community-centered holiday initiatives introduced in River Gee County this year.
