Voinjama City, Lofa County| Friday, Dec. 12, 2025| A Forest Ranger from the Liberia Forestry Development Authority assigned in Lofa County Ben Miller, has accused the Lofa County DEA Commander for ordering six 6 men, allegedly of his Agency to physically attack him in Bolahun Town.
He says this unfortunate development took place on December 10, 2025.
According to Ben Miller, the Lofa County LDEA commander, Agent Ballah Kamara ordered his arrest while he was seated at a friend’s residence; where the LDEA had gone to effect a search and arrest operations with a SHERIFF from court in hunt of a notorious Nigerian drugs dealer.
Ben Miller narrated that in the process, the officers asked him and he didn’t resist, but to his surprise the Commander allegedly insisted he turn it over. When he refused arrest, by adding that he had committed no offense. He then claimed he was physically attacked, beaten, and handcuffed with his own handcuffs by individuals believed to be LDEA officers.
He sustained visible injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment from a health specialist in Voinjama City.
Meanwhile, LDEA commander special Agent Ballah Kamara in response to the allegation said, Ben Miller FDA Ranger wanted to obstruct their operation while in pursuit to arrest a notorious Nigerian drugs dealer in Bolahun Town; which resulted into a harsh exchanges between us and I ordered my men to “PUT HIM INTO ORDER”; something that was done and he was sent to Kolahun for further investigation.
“The gentleman wanted to obstruct security operations so I asked my men to ‘PUT HIM INTO ORDER’, and something that they did, my brother the gentleman was rude and didn’t want to listen to us.
He continues, “I expect that we should be working together as team; we the joint security but not to disrespect each other,” LDEA Commander special Agent Ballah Kamara said.
At the same time, FDA Authority in Lofa County have promised to do a special letter of complaint to their bosses, while LDEA is also planning another complaint against the FDA Ranger for alleged disrespect.
