‎Zwedru City,Grand Gedeh County |Monday, Dec. 29, 2025| A 53-year-old widow is demanding justice and urgent medical intervention after a horrific animal attack left her with life-altering injuries and a serious medical challenge.

‎On Sunday, December 21, 2025, Adama Kamara was reportedly relaxing in her yard with friends when she was blindsided by a rogue cow. According to Kamara, the animal charged at high speed, striking her from behind with enough force to knock her to the ground.

‎The assault did not end there; the animal reportedly savaged her lower body, causing catastrophic damage to her private parts.

‎The brutality of the attack required emergency medical surgery. Kamara underwent a grueling procedure resulting in 32 stitches to repair the extensive tearing and damage.

‎ “I was in my yard lecturing with my friends,” Kamara recounted. “Unfortunately, the cow just came from nowhere with high speed and hit me from my back. I fell, and not stopping there, the cow grabbed my private part and damaged it.”

    ‎Negligence and Disregard

‎The victim is now calling out the owner of the animal for what she describes as a “shameful” lack of accountability. Despite the severity of the mutilation, Kamara claims the owner has provided only 2,000 LD a sum she says was intended merely for food, leaving her to shoulder the burden of her medical crisis alone.

    ‎The Demand

‎Kamara is now publicly calling on the owner, who has yet to be formally identified by authorities, to take full responsibility. She is pleading for immediate “advance treatment,” as the local medical response may not be enough to address the long-term trauma and physical damage sustained.

‎Meanwhile, local authorities are yet to confirm if charges will be filed against the owner of the animal.

‎‎This is a developing story and we will update as situation unfolds.
