    Lawmaker Donates Two Buses to Public Schools in Sinoe County

    Greenville City, Sinoe County |Jan. 1, 2026 |A Lawmaker from Sinoe County has donated two school buses to ease transportation for school going children; noting that it’s to reaffirm his commitment, serving his people and to buttress national government efforts as far as its ARREST Agenda was concerned.       

    Representative Alex S. Noah, of District #3 Sinoe County said the donation of buses is to help students attending public schools within the area who have to walk several miles before they reach on their various campuses.     

    According to Representative Noah, the two Buses are only for students and staffers working at various public schools within his district. He said the buses will be maintained under the supervision of his office and concession companies within the area; adding that, the buses are donated to Juarzon and Tayjewon administrative districts.  

    The lawmaker commended GVL for its commitment, adding that the management of GVL has agreed to provide fuel for the running of one of the buses while he is negotiating with the Ministry of Education to get the bus driver on government payroll, while the one for Juarzon he the representative will begin to provide maintenance until he can get support from government and partners like paying of driver and fueling of the said bus.      

    Representative Noah said this is also to challenge his colleagues, in the lower House to get involve with initiatives that will inure to the benefits of their respective constituents thereby bringing smile on the faces of citizens instead of waiting for central government to do everything.  

    Speaking to score of citizens in different parts of District #3 Sinoe County,   Representative Noah said if lawmakers begin reaching out to their constituents and spending time like major holidays in the year, it will allow the citizens to have access to them; stating that doing so will enable the citizens, especially older ones and disadvantaged to meet and talk on critical issues relative to the growth and wellbeing of the citizens across the districts cum entire country.

    Furthermore, Representative Noah noted that since he was elected in the district, something he has found pleasure in doing, is spending major holidays and interacting with his people in the district; adding that as part his annual break celebrations, he thought it wise again to be with his people in the district terming it as third phase of appreciation tour which started from 22nd December2025, to the 1st of January 2026. 

    The other bus (Green,White )color donated also to the students of Sinoe County.

    Besides the presentation of school buses, the Sinoe County District #3 Lawmaker, also carried on a groundbreaking ceremony for school and nurses quarters in the district; underscoring the need for the community to access education and healthcare deliverables.

    Moreover, about ten motorcycles were presented to individuals the lawmaker office believed were committed in transporting citizens in the district during the 2023 elections; terming it as a sign of appreciation to said individuals. 

    Meanwhile, education authorities including the district education officers and the school administrators have lauded the lawmaker for the gesture, terming it as historical since the establishment of government schools in the area. According to the principal of the Juarzon Public School, Lawrence Offosu, they are overwhelmed by the move made by Representative Noah stating that they are going to ensure that the bus be used for it intended purpose.

    For his part Daniel Hugges, Assistant DEO, noted that the education sector is face with several challenges in the district; ranging from qualified teachers, conductive learning environment, teacher residents and school feeding program among others, something Daniel applauded the lawmaker for his fast sightedness in helping to address the issue of transportation.
