    LTA Chairperson Highlights Investment Opportunities in Liberia’s Digital Transformation

    Monrovia, Liberia | Jan. 21, 2026 | The Chairperson of the Liberia Telecommunications Authority (LTA), Clearance K. Massaquoi, has identified key investment opportunities in Liberia’s digital transformation space and efforts.

    Speaking at the country post-war infrastructure conference, Massaquoi emphasized initiatives aimed at enhancing connectivity and fostering economic growth.

    Massaquoi highlighted investment opportunities in Public 5G network development, Tower infrastructure, Value Added Services (VAS) aggregators, Terrestrial backbone expansion, Amílcar Cabral undersea cable, Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) rollout, Country-specific digital top-level domain establishment

    He noted opportunities for public-private partnerships and incentives for additional mobile network operators to enter the market.

    “The Liberia Telecommunications Authority remains steadfast in its commitment to unlocking sustainable investments,” Massaquoi affirmed.

    Massaquoi also outlined critical reforms reshaping the ICT sector, including; Revisions to the licensing framework, Consumer Protection Law introduction, Enhanced Quality of Service standards, IMEI regulations, Infrastructure Sharing Regulations.

    These initiatives aim to drive digital growth and improve Liberia’s ICT landscape.

    The Liberia Telecommunications Authority (LTA) is participating in the ongoing Liberia Infrastructure Conference, showcasing investment opportunities and initiatives to accelerate the country’s digital transformation.

    Key projects highlighted include the Amílcar Cabral undersea cable, Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH), 5G network expansion, and public-private partnerships.

    LTA is committed to fostering sustainable investments and collaboration to build a connected, people-centered Liberia. The Authority’s presence at the conference underscores its role in driving economic growth and advancing Liberia’s digital future.
