Lofa County| January 31, 2026 | Despite Orange technology booster in lower Lofa County, citizens are calling on the company to work on its system in order to enhance its speed and internet connectivity thus improving calls quality and internet services in rural Liberia especially, Lofa County.
According to some community members specifically in Wulukoha Clan Kolahun District, Orange Liberia network built a tech booster in their community for easy access to communication but unfortunately for beneficiaries, the tech booster is not enhancing the network’s communication for the benefit of the consuming public as it had been expected.
“At times, we travel a distance to activate our minute calls, but surprisingly, when we put our money on the phone to call our friends and family members, we find it difficult to get network,” Karmo Momolu of Wulukoha Clan Kolahun district explained in an interview.
” We can put on our phone minute calls, but sometimes we don’t use it because of bad network and Orange Liberia network will never pay back our credits after restoring the network” Fatu Kanneh said in an interview in Wulukoha Clan, Kolahun district. Orange Liberia network was constrained to build a mini tech booster in between Towns and Villages in lower Lofa County.
Since the construction of the modern technology booster by Orange Liberia, citizens were happy for the development with hope that its arrival, would have boosted Orange Liberia system, but sadly, this has not happened; a situation that has left residents quite indifferent.
To conclude, it can be recalled that Orange Liberia’s network tech boosters were built in late 2025 in earmarked areas including Kortulahun, Koilahun #2 and other communities in Lofa County to enhance the network capabilities, but from our investigation, more people spread out in various communities are even complaining now than before.
However, all efforts applied to reach out to Orange Liberia communication person proved futile up to press timed.
