    Monrovia, Liberia |Feb. 5, 2026| The Federation of Liberian Mandingo Associations in the United States of America, FELMAUSA, is proud to announce that Representative Musa Hassan Bility, on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, donated building materials valued at 36,000 United States dollars to the FELMAUSA Hospital Project in Johnsonville.

    This generous contribution marks a significant step forward in accelerating the construction of a modern healthcare facility intended to serve communities in that region of Liberia.

    “Representative Bility’s action reflects integrity, accountability, and a sincere commitment to improving access to safe and reliable healthcare delivery services. By honoring his promise, he has demonstrated leadership that translates words into measurable impact. The donation of these essential building materials will directly support ongoing structural development and move the project closer to completion”, FELMAUSA release said.

    The leadership of FELMAUSA thanked Representative Bility for supporting their project. “On behalf of the Executive Leadership, the National Board of Directors, and the entire FELMAUSA community, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to Hon. Musa Hassan Bility for his steadfast support. We encourage other leaders, stakeholders, and partners to follow this example as we collectively work to strengthen healthcare infrastructure and uplift our communities.”

    The Federation of Liberian Mandingo Associations in the USA (FELMAUSA) is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization established in 2007 by Liberian Mandingoes residing in the United States. It acts as a unifying body designed to foster community, promote cultural heritage, and support development initiatives both within the Liberian diaspora in the USA and back home in Liberia. 

    Key aspects of FELMAUSA include, empowering communities through educational support, health and wellness programs, and humanitarian aid, particularly focusing on underserved and vulnerable populations in Liberia.

    Key Initiatives:

    Healthcare: Since 2011, FELMAUSA has conducted medical missions, providing free services such as eye surgeries, consultations, and medication. Currently, the organization constructing a 75-bedroom, 3-story hospital in Monrovia.

    Education: They provide financial assistance and scholarships to students in both the U.S. and Liberia.

    Humanitarian Relief: Programs include distributing clothing and shoes to vulnerable groups and an annual Ramadan initiative that provides food and essential items.

    Structure: The organization operates with board leadership, executive leadership, and various committees to manage its activities across different chapters in the United States. On the overall, FELMAUSA aims to build a self-sufficient community that contributes positively to the development and rebuilding of Liberia.
