Grand Kru County, Liberia |Feb. 25, 2026| District #2 in Grand Kru County has received a significant boost in healthcare delivery following a major distribution of essential medical supplies facilitated by Representative aspirant Hon. Oleo C. N. Wreh.
The intervention comes at a time when several health facilities across the district are grappling with limited equipment and basic medical materials, challenges that health workers say have constrained effective service delivery in rural communities.
The medical supplies are being distributed to facilities including Buah Geken Healthcare Center, Forpoh Dweken Clinic, Bolloh New Town Public Clinic, Forpoh Wonpluken Clinic, Bolloh Doeswen Public Clinic, Domu Nimene Referral Hospital, Sasstown Clinic, Bolloh Nyankunpo Healthcare Center, Barclayville Healthcare Center, Klipo Clinic, Sloh Tarlow Public Clinic, and other facilities across District #2.
According to the office of Hon. Wreh, the items distributed include 15 blood pressure (BP) cuffs, 15 pulse oximeters, 15 thermo flashers, manual thermometers, 400 pieces of 5ml syringes, elastic bandages, adhesive tapes, and 15 protective cases for oximeters.

Healthcare workers across the district say the equipment will significantly improve patient monitoring, enhance emergency response capacity, and strengthen overall service delivery — particularly in remote communities where resources are often scarce and referrals can be difficult.
The office of Hon. Wreh confirmed that all health-related donations are being supervised and coordinated by Mr. Rufus Wesseh, Principal Coordinator, to ensure accountability and equitable distribution across facilities.
Citizens describe the move as part of a broader commitment to strengthening healthcare, education, and development initiatives in District #2. They say the intervention reflects a practical approach to addressing immediate community needs.
For many residents, the timely distribution provides renewed hope for improved healthcare access and signals growing attention to the district’s development priorities.
