River Gee County | April 6, 2026 | A major boost to infrastructure development is underway in River Gee County as multiple pieces of earth-moving equipment are being deployed to open farm-to-market roads and improve access to hard-to-reach communities.

The initiative, led by Cllr. Kunkunyon Wleh Teh, Chief Executive Officer of the KunCares Foundation, is aimed at transforming road connectivity across the county and easing long-standing transportation challenges faced by residents.

Cllr. Kunkunyon Wleh Teh,Chief Executive Officer of KunCares Foundation and funder of Farm to market Road rehabilitation Initiative.

Once fully operational, the equipment will enhance movement between districts, towns, and cities, while also improving access to key agricultural routes, particularly farm-to-market roads that are critical to local economic growth.

Speaking via mobile phone from Monrovia late Sunday during a live radio interview, Cllr. Teh confirmed that the machinery is expected to arrive in the county shortly.

He revealed that initial operations will focus on some of the most underserved areas, including Glarro, Nyenebo, and Tienpo.

He described the effort as the beginning of a broader development agenda, assuring citizens that more initiatives will follow as part of his commitment to improving infrastructure and overall living conditions in River Gee County.

In a separate but related development, Cllr. Kunkunyon Wleh Teh has donated a brand-new 5KVA gasoline generator to Voice of Webbo Radio Station, further demonstrating his support for community development through media empowerment.

The generator was officially presented over the weekend by Mr. Kelvin Allison, a respected son of the county, who represented Cllr. Teh at the ceremony.

Receiving the donation, Station Manager Madam Sleh expressed appreciation for the timely intervention, noting that the generator will significantly improve the station’s broadcast reliability and enhance its ability to serve the public.

Voice of Webbo Radio, the only female-managed radio station in River Gee County, plays a crucial role in information dissemination, public awareness, and community engagement across the region.
