Zwedru City, Grand Gedeh County |April 7, 2026| In a significant move toward digital literacy, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Honorable J. Cornelia Wonseluah Kruah, officially launched the Rethink Tech Foundation Computer Training Program at the Zwedru Youth Center on Monday, April 6, 2026.
The high-profile ceremony drew a diverse crowd, including local county authorities, student groups, and hundreds of eager young people from across Zwedru and surrounding areas.
While delivering the keynote address, Minister Kruah emphasized the critical role of technology in the modern job market.
She challenged the youthful participants to move beyond mere excitement and commit themselves fully to intensive training.

”I am calling on every young person here to take serious advantage of this opportunity,” Minister Kruah stated. “You must prepare yourselves now so that when job opportunities arise, you are not just applicants, but qualified professionals ready to compete.
The Minister extended her profound gratitude to the Rethink Tech Foundation for selecting Zwedru as a hub for this gracious opportunity.
She described the initiative as a vital pillar in the government’s agenda for youth empowerment and urged the foundation to expand its reach.
The launch concludes a series of engagements by the Minister aimed at decentralizing youth development programs away from Monrovia and into the leeward counties.
Local leaders in Zwedru have hailed the move as a turning point for the region’s students, who have long advocated for better access to information technology.
