RIVER GEE – The Liberia Drugs Enforcement Agency (LDEA) River Gee County detachment has busted two women, Menery  Konton and Olivia Zayzay, for being in possession of 108 grams of the infamous narcotic substance Kush in that part of the country.

The drug bust by agents of the LDEA took place in Gbeapo Joquiken, River Gee County on 16 October, when Konton, aged 39 and her 37-year-old accomplice Zayzay, were nabbed being in possession of Kush valued at over 500,000 Liberian dollars, following a search and seizure operation by the LDEA.

The LDEA detachment in River Gee confiscated the drug from the alleged female drug peddlers and following preliminary investigation, the two female drug suspects admitted to being in possession of the harmful drug, and blamed it on the hardship they said they were encountering prior to dealing in narcotic substances.

Sources claim Zayzay and Konton are hardcore drug traffickers residing in Gbeapo Joquiken, River Gee County.

Our sources divulged that before both ladies joined the illegal drug trade, they traded cook food in River Gee, with the sources indicating that the pair has pleaded with LDEA for mercy.

Both ladies are expected to shortly be arraigned before the Gbeapo Joquiken Magisterial Court to stand trial for the possession and sale of illegal drugs.
