, Zorzor District ,Borkeza Town—Tuesday, March 04,2025- The Founder and General Manager of Alternative Youth Radio, Mr. James Kwabo, served as the guest speaker at the inauguration ceremony of the Student Council Government of Yarkpawolo Zaza High School in Borkeza Town, Zorzor Administrative District, Lofa County.

Delivering a speech on the theme “Leadership is a Call to Action: Lead, Serve, and Transform,” Mr. Kwabo encouraged the newly elected student leaders to embrace their roles with dedication and humility. He reminded them that leadership is not about status but about selfless service and making a tangible impact.

“Your fellow students have entrusted you with the power to lead — this is not just a privilege but a responsibility,” Mr. Kwabo stated. “Leadership is not about fancy titles or being called president. It’s about stepping up, especially when challenges arise, and taking action to bring about positive change.”

He urged the leaders to serve with passion, emphasizing that the true essence of leadership lies in action, not words.

As a demonstration of his commitment to youth empowerment and education, Mr. Kwabo pledged 10 bags of cement to support a school project and announced scholarships for 20 deserving students.

The program concluded with heartfelt appreciation from the school administration and the newly installed student leaders, who vowed to lead with integrity and work towards the development of their school and community.
