River Gee County – Thursday, May 22, 2025 – The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) conducted a search and seizure operation targeting drugs in Tienpo Nyonken, River Gee County.

The search led to the arrests of three ladies. This took place on May 19, 2025, during a routine patrol by the LDEA in the Tienpo Statutory district, an area heavily populated due to mining activities.

During the operation, officers found a significant amount of illegal drugs at the residence of three female suspects, which included half a plate of compressed marijuana, six wraps of marijuana, and a bottle of King Juice mixed with marijuana.

The total estimated street value of the confiscated drugs is LD$15,600.

The arrested individuals include: Tetee Bestman 38, Naomi Bestman 41, and Lovetee Jimmy 22, respectively.

The officers stated that the three suspects are currently in the custody of the LDEA in Fish Town City, River Gee County, where they are being further investigated and will soon face formal charges in court under the Liberian law.

LDEA River Gee County Commander Richard N. Nangoe reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to fighting drug trafficking, stressing their resolve to ensure that repeat offenders, such as Doe, are held accountable under the law.

Authorities remain focused on safeguarding communities and maintaining legal order in their ongoing efforts against narcotics.
