Tappitta, Nimba County – Friday,May 30, 2025– The Jackson Fiah Doe Memorial Regional Referral Hospital, located in lower Nimba County, has received advanced medical supplies. The medical supplies include a cutting-edge digital X-ray machine along with a variety of essential medical supplies.

The shipment includes gloves, an X-ray tube, syringes, surgical gowns, and other vital items necessary for patient care.

The hospital equipment were made available to the facility recently through the intervention of President Joseph Boakai.

This significant donation was made possible through the invaluable support of the Joseph Nyuma Boakai Foundation.  It highlights the foundation’s commitment to improving healthcare in the region.

It is believed that the introduction of this advanced X-ray technology will greatly improve the hospital’s ability to provide high-quality medical care to an expanding population of patients in Nimba County and neighbouring counties.

With the addition of modern hospital supplies, the facility aims to enhance diagnostic capabilities and overall patient outcomes.

Upon receiving the equipment, Dr. Victor Kaizer, the hospital’s Chief Executive Officer, conveyed his deep appreciation to President Boakai for the prompt and impactful support from the foundation.

He emphasized that the contribution arrives at a pivotal moment as the hospital is actively working to elevate its service standards.

Dr. Kaizer also assured the community that the donated resources will be diligently maintained and used for their intended medical purposes.

His commitment reflects the hospital’s ongoing dedication to providing exceptional healthcare services and underscores the significance of such contributions in bolstering healthcare infrastructure in the region.

The addition of the digital X-ray machine and the accompanying supplies is expected to not only enhance diagnostic efficiency, but also to alleviate some of the pressures faced by healthcare professionals at the facility.

This donation marks a critical development in their ongoing mission to meet the healthcare needs of the local population effectively as it continues to upgrade its healthcare delivery system.
