River Gee – The Liberia National Red Cross Society (LNRCS) has climaxed a week-long monitoring visit to its local offices and various project sites including River Gee County, in Liberia’s southeastern region.

The week-long exercise, according to the leadership of the LNRCS, was organized to engage and enhance operations and projects of Liberia National Red Cross Society’s local offices in southeastern Liberia.

During the visit, team members provided targeted coaching and hands-on support as means of empowering local staff to increase effectiveness and responsiveness in fulfilling their roles.

“Being present in the field goes beyond mere oversight. It’s about fostering resilience, honing skills, and remaining connected to the everyday realities faced by the communities we serve,” LNRCS Communication Manager, Oniel Bestman emphasized.

According to the LNRCS Communications Manager, the monitoring visit proved to be both inspiring and impactful in Sinoe, Grand Kru, River Gee, and Maryland Counties, indicating that it was hailed as a significant success for the organization.

Several LNRCS teams drawn from the organization’s Programs, Logistics, Finance, Communications, Human Resources, and Administration Departments were deployed to ensure the southeastern region visit’s objectives were met effectively.

From all indications, the LNRCS is committed to bolstering local humanitarian efforts, enhancing visibility, and maintaining relevance, all while striving to deliver effective, impactful, and compassionate assistance to those in need.
