River Gee County Superintendent, Mike Swengbe, along with local officials, has made efforts aimed at promoting reconciliation, by intervening in a longstanding conflict among the women of Toubo Pellohken, River Gee County.

The tension stemmed from allegations of public disgrace and legal recourse initiated by the Speaker of the Toubo Women’s Organization, Madam Esther Saylee, leading to a split within the group and disrupting the social fabric of the District.

Over the weekend, Superintendent Swengbe, accompanied by representatives of the local government, held a dialogue session aimed at addressing the concerns of the affected women.

During the meeting, Swengbe stressed the importance of reconciliation, mutual respect, and collaboration, asserting that healing and unity are crucial for the county’s advancement.

His engagement demonstrated the local government’s dedication to fostering social harmony and restoring peace at the community level.

Speaking on behalf of the women group, Madam Sarah Weah, head of Toubo Pellohken women organization expressed appreciation for Superintendent Swengbe’s involvement, thanking him for his leadership and the opportunity to resolve their issues constructively.

The women committed to enhancing their cooperation and promote peace. Superintendent Swengbe’s initiatives highlight the importance of inclusive leadership and the essential role of dialogue in facilitating community development.

However many residents including officials from the Turbo Administration District, have applauded Swengbe for his involvement in the resolution of the prolonged dispute among women in the area, urging the River Gee Superintendent to take further action to enhance the conditions in the county.
