    LNP Community Policing Department in Lofa Trains 370 Community Watch Forum Members

    Voinjama City, Lofa County- August 14, 2025 – Three hundred and Seventy (370) Community Watch Forum members have been trained and graduated on Thursday August 14, 2025 by the Community Policing department of the LNP in Lofa County.

    According to the Department of Community Policing at the LNP headed by Inspector Francis O. Ziama, the Community Watch Forum members recruited will be functioning as helpers to the Liberia National Police in their respective communities.

    Inspector Ziama said those who were trained are not police officers but rather community volunteers who will help the Liberia National Police in their respective communities in the area of protection.

    Those who were trained came from Quardu Gboni district and Voinjama district.

    Similar training was conducted in Salayea and Zorzor districts and the training will continue to Foya and Kolahun districts.

    In separate remarks, officers of the Liberia National Police in the county urged the Watch Forum members not to act as Police officers.
