    Gbarpolu County Social Development Fund Delivers New Admin Building

    ‎Bopolu City, Gbarpolu County |March 21, 2026|The newly renovated Gbarpolu County Administrative Building was officially handed over to the Local Government today, marking a major milestone in the county’s development.

    ‎The building, renovated by Dream Technology Group of Companies, was funded by the Gbarpolu County Social Development Fund at a total cost of US$50,600.00. This funding was approved in the 2025 Gbarpolu County Development Budget by the Gbarpolu County Council, the highest decision-making body according to the Local Government Act.

    ‎The building boasts 14 modern offices, including restrooms, 2 conference rooms, and separate general restrooms for males and females.

    ‎The renovation, which included carpentry, structural enhancements, masonry, electrical works, plumbing, and painting, was completed between January 28, 2025, and March 18, 2026.

    ‎The building is now equipped with modern wiring and water systems, ready to serve the people of Gbarpolu.

    ‎Moreover, the team also renovated the generator room and the Palava Hut adjacent to the Administrative Building; further enhancing the overall infrastructural outlook of the building.

    ‎”This project is a testament to the power of decentralization,” said Gbarpolu County Superintendent Sam K. Zinnah.

    Final Report Bopolu City Administrative Building Submitted to Gbarpolu County Superintendent Sam K. Zinnah by Dreams Technology CEO Emmanuel J. Morris.

    ‎”When we have the resources and the decision-making power through the County Council at the local level, we can make a real difference in the lives of our citizens,” he said, “This building is a symbol of what can be achieved when we work together to prioritize development.”

    ‎Project Manager Paul Soper of Dream Technology Group of Companies expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work on the project in Bopolu City.

    ‎He said, “This project started as a conversation in our office, and we are happy to have been able to bring it to life.”

    ‎For his part, County Development Officer Olu Onangbah Normanlee praised the team for their excellent work.

    ‎He said, “This is what we want to see across the county. We want to see good work; quality work delivered on time so that it can encourage the citizens.”

    ‎‎Several residents of Bopolu City, and local government workers who attended the event, said that the building’s renovation is a significant step forward for Gbarpolu County, and serves as an example of the importance of decentralization in enhancing and expanding development at the local level.
