Sinoe County -A 1-year-old baby has been reportedly raped by two eight-year-old male minors, in Sinoe County.

The baby, who is profusely bleeding from her private part is currently undergoing medical treatment at the FJ Grante Memorial Hospital, in Greenville, Sinoe County.

On the fateful day of the troubling incident, the mother of the infant left the child with her grandma and went to school when the two minors allegedly molested the 1-year-old sexually, according to an eye witness account.

While the child’s mother was away, the grandmother also left the baby in the care of the two minors and went to her farm, according to our correspondent, who reports that the boys at one point undressed the infant, bathed, and took her indoors.

Another eye witness account revealed that while indoors with the two boys, the child kept crying, raising eyebrows that prompted a teenager named not disclosed, to have insisted that the baby be brought outdoors.

When the child was brought outdoors, it was observed that she was bleeding from her private part with blood dripping down her thighs, raising concerns and leading the teenager, a 16-year-old boy to call the attention of some neighbors.

Upon the return of the child’s mother, she rushed her baby to the nearby health center in Juarzon, but health workers there referred the case to Greenville for proper medical attention.

Quoting medical report, the Officer-In-Charge at the FJ Grante Memorial Hospital, Zubah Zawu, has confirmed that the 1-year-old was raped.

Zawu asserted that the child’s survival cannot be determined until further medical treatments are administered.
