Zwedru City, Grand Gedeh County-Friday, Nov. 14, 2025-The President of Grand Gedeh University has in his recent interview boasted of a high level of progression in the college.
Speaking to a team of Journalists, Dr. Eric Gbotoe said the school has significantly improved in its enrollment twice relative to previous enrollment.
He emphasized the importance of the both houses of the National Legislature timely concordance on granting the College, a university status.
Dr. Gbotoe pointed at the capacity building program that has been organized under his stewardship for staffers as one the major achievements within the institution and he mentioned and praised the positive collaboration established with foreign institutions.
Dr. Gbotoe gives hope to students reading Nursing that subsequently the long expected Nursing Laboratory under construction at the University campus shall soon be completed and students of the nursing department will return to study.
Commenting on the University recent student council induction ceremony, Dr. Gbotoe indicated that he did not boycott the program but the ceremony coincided with the return of the University’s guest whom he had to escort back to their destination. But President Gbotoe added that the University was adequately represented by one of its heads in his absence.
