Paris, France |May 7, 2026 |Today, May 7, 2026, His Excellency Dr. Teeko Tozay Yorlay, Sr., Liberia’s Ambassador to France, had the honor of meeting with Mrs. Isabelle Rome, Ambassador for Human Rights at the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic, for a constructive exchange on the important global issue of human rights.
As per a statement issued by the Embassy, Ambassador Yorlay and his guest discussions highlighted the valuable role of the World Congress Against the Death Penalty in fostering dialogue, strengthening cooperation, and bringing together governments, civil society, and legal experts to advance global advocacy efforts.
Liberia recognizes the importance of such engagements in informing policy discussions and contributing to national reflections on justice and human rights.
Ambassador Yorlay reaffirmed Liberia’s commitment to constructive international dialogue and to sharing experiences aimed at advancing human rights and justice sector reform.
He also welcomed the continued collaboration between Liberia and France in promoting justice systems grounded in human dignity, fairness, rehabilitation, and respect for human life.
