KOLAHUNG DISTRICT-Local residents from Ngokorhun Town in Kolahun District are urging authorities to expedite the completion of the proposed Central Tahamba Community Clinic Project.

The local residents believe the clinic project is essential for their health and well-being, and, hence, its completion should be accelerated.  They made the plead during a recent town hall meeting with Max Ngaima Momo, the Human Resource Officer of the Lofa County Health Team.

Elder John B. Sayngbeh emphasized the importance of the clinic to the community, urging Mr. Momo to appeal to the Ministry of Health through the Lofa County Health Team to help complete their clinic project. Elder Saynbgeh noted that the Central Tahamba Community Clinic will benefit several towns within the Central Tahamba section when completed and fully functional.

In addition, Madam Wendor Sayngbeh, the Chairlady of Ngokorhun Town, expressed gratitude on behalf of the citizens for the ongoing support from former Lofa County District #3 Representative, Clarence Kortu Massaqu. She highlighted his contribution as crucial to the initial stage of the clinic project.

In response, the Human Resource Officer of the Lofa County Health Team, Max Ngaima Momo said “I’m not promising you people, but I will make sure to inform the Minister through the Lofa County Health Team about the completion of your clinic project.” His commitment to advocate for the clinic’s completion was met with appreciation from the townspeople.

The proposed clinic is intended to provide essential healthcare services to the residents of Central Tahamba, who have been advocating for improved medical facilities in their area. As the community awaits further developments, they remain hopeful that their call will lead to the successful completion of this vital healthcare facility.
