    GGCHT Inducts Dr. Mathew Manneh As New County Health Officer, While Dr. Deanue Zwuogbae Moves to Bong County

    Zwedru City, Grand Gedeh County-Saturday, August 9, 2025-The County Health Team of Grand Gedeh County on Friday, August 8, 2025 inducted into office a new County Health Officer in person of Dr. Matthew Manneh.

    The program was hugely attended by the county local authority, heads of the midwifery school, health practitioners and other stakeholders in the county.

    During the program, the newly inducted CHO, Dr. Manneh in his speech appreciated the outgoing CHO Dr. Deanue Zwuogbae and the entire working force at the county health team.

    Dr.  Matthew Manneh expressed his willingness and interest in working with all members of the team to ensure speedy implementation of all activities of the county health team.

    Furthermore, he called on his team to maintain professional ethics as they work cordially to achieve the ultimate goal of ensuring the population have access to prompt medical services at all times.

    For his part, outgoing CHO Deanue Zwuogbae appreciated the entire health team of Grand Gedeh and said his departure from the county is based upon his hard work over the period under review and the time had come to move on.

    He urged his successor to develop a good working relationship with every member of the Health Team and other partners that contribute to the Health Team’s operations in the county.

    In brief remarks, the county local authority represented by Mr. Isaac Zulu congratulated the outgoing CHO for his dedication in serving the health sector of Grand Gedeh and asked the incoming CHO to follow along similar route.

    At the same, the Youth president, Marcus Jalarue in his remark applauded the health team of Grand Gedeh County and urged them to continue doing their professional work.
