Monrovia, Liberia-Tuesday, November 25, 2025- The 22nd Annual Meeting of the African Road Maintenance and Financing Association (ARMFA) has wrapped up, leaving behind a trail of hope, collaboration, and concrete plans for Africa’s sustainable road infrastructure future. And behind this success stand the pillars of dedication and partnership that made it all possible.

The Liberia National Road Fund have extended heartfelt gratitude to H.E. President Joseph N. Boakai, whose leadership and vision set the stage for ARMFA’s momentous 22nd General Assembly.

The President’s unwavering support according to the NRF statement underscores Liberia’s commitment to advancing regional connectivity and development, spotlighting the critical role of quality roads in shaping Africa’s economic growth.

The ARMFA NRF Board deserves immense appreciation for steering the event with precision and passion.

Their strategic guidance ensured the assembly was not just a conference, but a launchpad for transformative ideas and partnerships.

“To the delegates, speakers, and partners who traveled from across the continent and beyond your active participation, insightful discussions, and eagerness to collaborate turned every session into a hub of innovation” The NRF Management said in a statement.

The exchange of experiences, challenges, and solutions on financing and maintaining Africa’s road networks has laid a foundation for accelerated progress.

The week was vibrant with dynamic dialogues on pioneering solutions to bridge Africa’s infrastructure gaps. Delegates explored cutting-edge financing models, technology-driven maintenance strategies, and ways to strengthen intra-African trade through robust road networks.

The assembly reignited a collective pledge to drive sustainable, inclusive growth by connecting communities, empowering economies, and ensuring safe, resilient roads for all.

As ARMFA concludes this successful gathering, the baton is passed to members and partners to turn commitments into action. The road ahead is clear: Onward and upward! Together, we’re paving the way for a connected, thriving Africa.
