Harper, Maryland County | Dec. 17, 2025 | In a vibrant demonstration of commitment to sports development and county pride, prominent son of River Gee County, Cllr. Kunkunyon Teh, to distribute approximately 150 free match tickets to supporters ahead of today’s crucial Group A fixture against host Maryland County at the ongoing National County Sports Meet – NCSM.
The initiative is aimed at boosting fan turnout and strengthening morale for River Gee County’s football and kickball teams as they prepare to face a determined Maryland side on home ground.
Beneficiaries of the ticket distribution include youths, students, sports enthusiasts, and loyal supporters who have consistently rallied behind the county team since the start of the tournament.
Organizers believe the move will help create a vibrant atmosphere in the stands and give the players an added psychological edge.
Speaking to Verity News via telephone from Monrovia, Cllr. Teh underscored the importance of unity and collective support, stressing that a strong fan presence can play a decisive role in motivating athletes during high-stakes encounters.
“Our boys and girls are carrying the pride and identity of River Gee County. They deserve our unwavering support. Providing these tickets is just a small way of encouraging our people to stand firmly with the team and push them toward victory,” Cllr. Teh stated.
