Paynesville, Liberia | January 15, 2026 | Grand Kru County has booked its place in the Grand Final of the 2025/2026 National County Sports Meet following a stunning 3–0 victory over tournament favorites Grand Cape Mount County at the SKD Sports Complex in Paynesville.
Captain Varney B. Varney delivered a commanding performance, scoring twice in the second half of the encounter.
Varney opened the scoring in the 74th minute and doubled the lead in the 83rd minute, sending Grand Kru supporters into jubilation.
