Voinjama City, Lofa County~Monday, October 27, 2025~ The founder and  Chief Executive Officer, James Papy Kwabo of the Alternative Youth Radio based in Zorzor District on Saturday, October 25,2025 donated 25 brand new pairs of football boots to the District #5 football team currently participating in the Electoral District league taking place  in the County’s capital of Voinjama city.

James Papy Kwabo’s donation comes at the time when it is most needed as Zorzor District #5 is one of the districts currently partaking in the widely embraced District League.

The donation, according to insiders came in the wake of numerous appeals by both the players and supporters ahead of their first match against Kolahun District #3; a match which ended in favour of Zorzor District #5.

The players had earlier planned to boycott the game due of the lack of football boots.

James Papy Kwabo during the donation said, “As a key supporter of youth activities and particularly a lover of football, I deemed it necessary to provide the 25 pairs of football boots for the players”. This is meant to encourage the team ahead of their first game and also get them fully prepared for future encounters in the ongoing league.

Receiving the 25 pairs of football boots, the team’s Coach and Captain appreciated the youthful and enterprising AYR boss and called on others personalities to likewise do same for the district team.
