Grand Cape Mount County- Tuesday, February 11,2025-In recent time, Cape Mount and part adjacent have been greeted with terrifying news from town of Madina where it has been reported that a giant-size human-like creature (baboon) has waged war on the residents of the town leaving several persons wounded.

Early today, Jenneh Kemokai of Radio Piso reported via her Facebook handle that the people of Madina Town were in search of a 7 year old child who was allegedly taken away by the creature.

One of the victims of angry Baboon said to be on the rampage.

Last week when it was reported that the creature flogged and broke a finger of a young man, we contacted the Youths Chairman of the town who confirmed the situation but said he had already contacted the Forestry Development Authority Wildlife Office about the troubling development. According to him, the FDA representative informed him that they were amalgamating resources to move in and get the creature out of the Madina high bush (forest).

This is not the first time the Forestry Development Authority, Environment Protection Agency and other partners are preparing to move in to rescue the people of Madina as the entire town and other surrounding towns are presently living in total fear.

The badly injured 7-year old kid allegedly rescued from the Baboon.

Meanwhile, the people of Madina town and part adjacent are calling on both and national authorities to quickly intervene and arrest the situation before things get completely out of hand.
