Zwedru City, Grand Gedeh County–Monday, Nov. 17, 2025–A six-day-old infant, snatched from the hospital early yesterday morning with whereabouts completely unknown, has been recovered alive; bringing a tense, high-paced search to an abrupt end.
The recovery has been confirmed by local authorities, though a chilling silence has descended from the police department regarding the circumstances of the child’s return.
The news of the infant’s discovery broke late this evening, igniting a wave of relief that quickly soured into urgent questions.
As of this report, law enforcement officials have flatly refused to address the press on any substantive aspect of the recovery.
Key Questions Demanding Answers Yet Remain Unanswered
Police have yet to confirm where the child was found, who had custody of the newborn, when the discovery was made, or crucially, how the recovery was carried out.
