Fessibu Town, Lofa County – Thursday, October 23, 2025–The Change Agent Network University in Fessibu Town, Zorzor Administrative District, has received a major boost in its ongoing annex construction project through a generous contribution from a native of the district and his team.

Speaking to reporters recently in Fessibu Town, the General Coordinator of Team Jesse Korboi, Mr. Saye Amos Somah, disclosed that the group decided to support the construction of the university’s annex as part of their commitment to improving education and empowering young people in the region.

According to Mr. Somah, the team donated 20 bags of cement to the ongoing project and pledged to do more. He emphasized that contributing to the development of the institution is a way of giving back to their community and ensuring a better learning environment for current and future students.

“We believe that supporting the Change Agent Network University is not just about building structures—it’s about building minds and creating opportunities for our brothers and sisters,” Mr. Somah said.

He further revealed that Team Jesse Korboi has previously assisted several students of the university by covering their tuition and other academic costs, as part of their broader educational support initiatives.

Receiving the donation, the Chief Executive Officer of the University, Mr. Eric W. Wowoh, expressed gratitude for the contribution and lauded the team’s commitment to education and community development.

Mr. Wowoh encouraged other sons and daughters of Zorzor District and Lofa County to emulate the example, noting that community participation remains vital in sustaining the University’s growth and development.

He disclosed that the cost of the ongoing annex project is estimated at US$80,000, and praised students of the University for their Active Involvement, noting that many have contributed materials such as cement, sand, rocks, and wood for the roofing of the new structure.

“This project is a symbol of collective effort and unity. It shows what we can achieve when we come together for a common purpose,” Mr. Wowoh remarked.

The annex, when completed, is expected to expand the university’s facilities and improve learning conditions for students pursuing various academic programs.
