Voinjama City—The stage is set for a thrilling climax in the 2025 Lofa County Electoral Districts League as District #1 and District #5 secured their spots in the Grand Final, following weeks of intense competition.
In the last semi-final encounter played on Friday, October 31, 2025, District #1 displayed impressive form, defeating District #2 with a convincing 2–0 victory. Both goals were scored in the first half, sealing District #1’s qualification to face District #5 in what promises to be a pulsating grand finale.
The Grand Final is scheduled for Sunday, November 2, 2025, at the Voinjama City Sports Ground. The event will coincide with the official groundbreaking ceremony for a modern soccer stadium—a significant milestone for sports development in Lofa County.
In addition to the championship trophy, several individual awards will be presented after the final, including:
Best Player Award, Top Scorer Award, Best Goalkeeper Award, Most Disciplined Player Award, and Best Playing Team Award.

The champion team will walk away with a cash prize of not less than one million Liberian dollars.
Meanwhile, the third-place match between District #4 and District #2 will take place today, November 2, 2025.
Organized by the Local Authorities of Lofa County, the tournament aims to promote unity, talent development, and grassroots football across the county. After the competition, outstanding players are expected to be recruited to form the Lofa County Team for upcoming national competitions.
