    Elephant Kills 40-Year-Old Man in Kailahun Town

    Kailahun Town, Lukambeh District- September 29, 2025-A huge Elephant killed a man, aged 40 on Saturday evening while he was returning from his farm.

    According to the information, the man identified as Saah Tamba came from Foya to visit his wife and decided to do some farm work.

    He still there for a while and decided to return to town when he unfortunately encounter the elephant which was being accompanied by its offspring, a young baby elephant.

    It was there and then, the altercation occurred with elephant.

    Meanwhile, the 15-men jury stated that ‘Tamba’ was hit twice from back and forth which resulted in to his instant death. Following the jury report, FDA officials who were present, confirmed that victim was attacked and killed by the elephant.

    FDA officials said, the late 40 year old might have made an attempt on the baby elephant which might resulted into the mother elephant taking action to protect its young.

    ” These wild Elephants don’t normally attack human being except you attempt to do them harm” FDA officials said.

    Meanwhile, they calling on the farmers to stay way from the Wild species as they are doing their farm work.

    This situation occupied barley days after the Rural Reporters Network published about Elephants destroying their products from the farm.

    The public is calling on authority at the FDA to use the public radio for awareness about how to preserve the wild life.
