    Ex-Rep. Chea Urges Unity for Development Among River Gee Citizens…

    River Gee County, Fish Town -March 14, 2025 – Former Representative of River Gee County electoral district 2, has stressed the need for citizens both home and away to be united in order to foster development in the county.

    Christian Chea stated that unity will pave the way to enhance major development projects intended to transform the living standard of the people.

    According to him, River Gee citizens everywhere should work in unity for the transformation of the county through projects that will make most impact on the lives of ordinary citizens.

    The first Former Superintendent of River Gee has therefore indicated that division among any group of people, hamper the growth and upliftment of a county.

    Chea emphasized that citizens of the county should get involved with the process of fostering peace and unity among themselves, noting that everyone have played significant roles to ensure lower Grand Gedeh gained County status called River Gee today.

    The former Law Maker also gave a brief history of how River Gee became a County from under Grand Gedeh before his Administration as first County Superintendent.

    However, River Gee gained county status in the year 2000 under former President Charles Taylor’s regime through an Act of the Legislature.

    The River Gee County former superintendent and former lawmaker made these statements when he served as a Guest Speaker over the weekend during a program marking the 3rd  Induction ceremony of River Gee Development Association leadership based in Monrovia (RIGDAIM) held in Clara Town, Bushrod Island outside Monrovia.

    Making remarks, electoral district 3, Representative Johnson SN Williams of River Gee County added that the people of River Gee will have to explore all avenues to be united to revamp the development process of the county rapidly.

    Rep. Williams noted that without unity, it would be difficult to foster the county development agenda.

    Members of the high table at the RIGDAIM’s 3rd Induction program held in Clara Town, Bushrod Island Outside Monrovia.

    At the close of his statement, the District 3 Lawmaker presented the amount of Fifty thousand Liberian dollars (LRD$50.000) to the newly inducted leadership as a startup.

    Meanwhile, newly sworn in first female RIGDAIM president Miss. Brenny Davis has vowed to lead with good leadership, Accountability and Transparency in her tenure.

    Miss. Davis was elected and inducted into office along with John Anthony Browne as Vice President for the River Gee Development Base in Monrovia. The Brenny leadership is expected to leader for 3 years, 2025 – 2028.

    Brenny Davis has therefore served the River Gee University Students Union as President for two years, Worked as LISGIS Supervisor 2022 National Housing and Population Census.
