Zorzor, Lofa County –Tuesday, August 5, 2025-In a passionate call to action, Ms. Rita Acquoigo, Coordinator of the Federation of Liberian Youth (FLY), Lofa County Chapter, has encouraged youth leaders across the county to embrace constructive engagement and positive leadership in their respective communities.

Speaking at a well-attended youth induction ceremony in Zorzor recently, Ms. Acquoigo stressed the importance of listening, learning, and leading with integrity.

“Effective leadership begins with listening, identifying our institutional weaknesses, and working together to correct our mistakes,” she said.

She urged youth leaders to rise above personal or political interests and instead focus on building unity and championing community-driven development.

“Let your advocacy be positive, not politically influenced,” she added, assuring the young leaders that FLY remains committed to supporting local initiatives that promote peace, growth, and opportunity for all young people in Lofa.

Ms. Acquoigo’s words were met with applause and admiration, as many saw her message as a powerful reminder that young people must be the drivers of solutions, not divisions.

Her leadership continues to ignite hope among the youth of Lofa, inspiring a new generation to lead with purpose, patience, and pride.
