    The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Richard Nagbe Koon, today led his Ghanaian counterpart, the Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, Speaker of the 9th Parliament of the Republic of Ghana, along with his delegation, on a courtesy visit to His Excellency President Joseph N. Boakai Sr. at the Executive Mansion.

    The Ghanaian delegation is in Liberia to participate in a peer review legislative knowledge-sharing engagement focused on fostering collaboration and exchanging best practices between the legislative chambers of both nations. The Legislative Engagement Retreat is scheduled to commence on Thursday, with official sessions set to take place from Friday to Saturday.

    President Boakai warmly welcomed the Rt. Hon. Speaker Bagbin and his delegation, expressing his appreciation for their visit. He assured them of Liberia’s commitment to strengthening ties with regional legislative counterparts and extended best wishes to Speaker Koon and members of the House as they engage in discussions with their West African legislative colleagues.
