    Humanity First Walk-Run-Bike Event Concludes in Bopolu City as It Circles the Globe

    ‎Bopolu City, Gbarpolu County-Monday, September 15, 2025 — An energetic Walk-Run-Bike event organized by Humanity First in Gbarpolu County concluded at the Bopolu City Hall after a circuit through the major streets of Bopolu City on Sunday, September 14, 2025.

    ‎The local organizing team was led by Imam Farrukh Shabbir Lodhi of the Ahmaddiya Muslim Missionary in Gbarpolu County.

    ‎The event is part of the Globe for Humanity Initiative, a global fitness and fundraising campaign marking Humanity First’s 30 years of service from September 6–20, 2025.

    ‎Participants walked, ran, biked, as well as played sports to accumulate miles with the aim of collectively “circling the globe” by virtually visiting all Humanity First countries including Liberia through distance traveled.

    ‎The target distance is 40,075 kilometers, symbolizing the Earth’s circumference.

    ‎About Humanity First:

    ‎International humanitarian and relief organization founded in 1994, with its mission to serve humanity, support vulnerable communities, relieve suffering, restore dignity. Programs include disaster relief, clean water, healthcare, education, orphan care, among others.

    ‎In terms of global reach, it currently operates in over 65 countries across multiple continents. Furthermore, membership or participation is free; individuals can join as members or teams.

    ‎Regarding events, they occur both locally (in-person) and virtually online; participation is open worldwide.

    ‎Tracking is via the Charity Footprints platform, which can sync with fitness trackers.

    ‎Initiative Aims: Raise awareness of Humanity First’s work.

    ‎The organization; a global movement also raises funds to support healthcare, education, clean water, disaster relief, orphan care, and related programs.

    ‎In addition, Humanity First’s does also promote physical well-being, community involvement, solidarity, and global unity.

    ‎Organizers emphasized that the event serves both health and humanitarian fundraising goals, inviting more people to participate either individually or as teams.

    ‎The campaign continues with virtual and local components, allowing participation from anywhere via the Charity Footprints platform.
