Voinjama, Lofa County—Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025— The Ministry of Commerce and Industry as an entity responsible to regulate Business in Liberia on Tuesday sharply cautioned charcoal sellers in Lofa County to be reasonable with the price of Coal they sell on the market.

According to Mr. Abubakar Kaifa Saryon, the price of coal is too high and therefore there is a need to reduce the price.

Currently, the price for a bag of coal in Voinjama and its environs is 700 to 750 LD.

Previously, a bag of coal was sold between LD 500 to 600 but according to the coal dealers, the price of gasoline, transportation fare, and chain sawyers’ payment increased, that’s the reason for the increment in the charcoal current price in Voinjama and parts adjacent.

The Ministry of Commerce in Lofa County is immediately calling on coal sellers operating in the county to be reasonable in pricing the bag of coal.

More than half of the population in Lofa County depends on charcoal for cooking, and other activities for heating.

The increase in the price of charcoal in the county is a serious embarrassment to the community in Voinjama and other parts of the county.

B777casino is alright. Nothing super special, but their slots are pretty solid. Good if you’re looking for a place to kill some time and have a go. That’s my two cents for now: b777casino
