    Islamic Community of Montserrado County District 4 Gifted With Essential Food Items

    Montserrado County, Monrovia-March 10,2025-In a heartfelt display of support for his constituents during the current Holy month of Ramadan, Montserrado County Electoral District 4 lawmaker, Rep. Michael Thomas, has donated a generous supply of essential items to the Islamic community resident within his district.

     From what appeared as equally honoring and celebrating his birthday, lawmaker Thomas chose to give back to the people he serves by contributing to the ongoing observance of Ramadan.

    The donated items include 50 bags of rice; four cartons of cooking oil, several sacks of mineral water, and other assorted provisions; all intended to help support the local Muslim community during this special time of prayers.

    Speaking at the donation ceremony, the Chief Imam of Paynesville city, Hassan Kamara, expressed deep gratitude for the kind gesture, acknowledging that this is not the first time Hon. Thomas has shown his commitment to supporting the Islamic community in District 4. Chief Imam Kamara further remarked that even before becoming a lawmaker, Rep. Thomas had consistently reached out to the community in times of need.

    Montserrado District 4 Representative makes special Remarks prior to donating the Food Items to Muslims in his constituency.

    Deputy Imam Abraham Kamara also took the opportunity to pray for the lawmaker and for the success of all his undertakings. His prayers and well-wishes emphasized the importance of unity and goodwill within the district.

    The donated items will be distributed among various mosques throughout District 4, ensuring that families in need can benefit from this timely humanitarian assistance during the holy month of Ramadan.

    Rep. Michael Thomas continues to demonstrate his dedication to his constituents, fostering an environment of inclusivity and compassion within the community.

    Customarily, Liberian politicians are noted for gifting people of the Islamic with goodies such as rice ,sugar and other kinds of food items during the month of Ramadan.
