The Founder and Team Leader of the Liberia Forest Media Watch (LFMW) and Managing Editor of the Rural Reporters News Network (RRNN), Paul M. Kanneh has extended thanks and appreciation to the Vice Principal for Instruction, James Kollie for suspending eight students caught in academic malpractices at the St. Joseph Catholic School during the first marking period test.

As part of the gesture, Journalist Paul Kanneh donated one ream of sheet to the VPI, Kollie to enhance his administrative and academic activities, noting, if the country’s education is to improve, parents and stakeholders should recognize disciplinarian like James Kollie.

The gesture from Paul comes 8 hours after publication by RRNN on the suspension of the eight students who were caught righthanded cheating during exam on Friday, October 17, 2025

“The bold step taken by James Kollie and the school administration should be welcome by all parents and stakeholders if we must support government and partners effort to strengthen the education sector”, said Journalist Paul Kanneh.

Paul said the move is to motivate other school administrators who may be reluctant to punish unbecoming students at their various schools.

“If Liberia educational sector is to get better, we should all practice such a good behavior by disciplining our students academically”, Paul noted. Journalist J. Mason Kollie presented the ream of paper on behalf of Paul Kanneh.

Receiving the ream of paper on Tuesday October 21, 2025 on the main campus of the St. Joseph Catholic High School in Voinjama, the young school administrator, James Kollie appreciated Journalist Paul Kanneh for recognizing his effort and the efforts of the administration.

VPI Kollie said the school will continue her quest for academic excellence in post war Liberia. He wants other school’s administrators to follow the examples of the St. Joseph Catholic High School.

“Little is much when God is in it, I think this donation is from the heart of Mr. Kanneh, therefore may God bless him and his family, and many thanks to you Mr. J. Mason Kollie for the write out of the story on your platform” James Kollie, said in a surprise mood.
