The Liberia Land Authority (LLA) has, with immediate effect, suspended all land transaction activities related to Public and Government Land within the Omega and Hotel Africa communities in Montserrado County. This suspension takes effect today, Friday, February 28, 2025, until further notice.

The purpose of this suspension is to conduct a thorough verification of all previous public and government land transactions in the Omega and Hotel Africa communities.

Additionally, individuals in possession of Development Grant Deeds for properties in these areas are required to submit a copy of their deeds to the office of the Chairman, Liberia Land Authority, located at corner of Ashmum and Gurley Streets, for technical verification. The deadline for submission is March 31, 2025, at 4:00 PM.

The LLA serves as the regulatory agency of the Liberian Government, overseeing the administration and management of land across the Republic of Liberia.

The public is urged to take note of this announcement and comply accordingly to avoid any potential inconveniences.

For technical information and inquiry please contact the following cell numbers 231-886488951/0777-514415. You can also visit LLA’s official website, www.lla.gov.lr or Facebook Page for more information.
