Foya Tengia, Lofa County-Saturday, May 17, 2025 –The Liberia Drugs Enforcement Agency Lofa detachment arrested a 45 years old man with huge quantity of drugs in Foya Tengia.
Suspect Hallie Visikenia from Foya Tengia road was arrested on May 15, 2025 by DEA officers in Foya based on intelligence report.
He was arrested with more than 1 Kilogram of Marijuana in the district. According to the DEA County Commander, Special Agent Kpehe Lomax, the street value of the narcotics is more than LD$50,000.00 or approximately $250.00 United States Dollars.
The Suspect admitted to the crime and pleaded for mercy because according to him, it was the source of his income. Suspect Hallie Visikenia was charged and forwarded to court for illegal possession of Marijuana and is currently at the Voinjama Central prison awaiting trial.
It can be recalled that DEA Lofa detachment has made several arrests in the Foya Statutory district and from all indications; it seems that it is not stopping now.
Meanwhile, Special Agent Kpehe Lomax is calling on the DEA senior management for more logistical support in order to enable he and his men adequately execute their task of ensuring the county becomes a drugs-free environment.
