Monrovia, Liberia- Friday, August 22, 2025 – The Liberia Telecommunications Authority (LTA) in a statement Wednesday, August 20, 2025 said it has successfully restored and strengthened network coverage in several towns across the country. This development brings relief and convenience to residents who had experienced service disruptions for months or even years.

Restored Network Coverage cover Putu Telma, Grand Gedeh County, Senyah Town, Grand Bassa County after almost two years of service disruption due to theft of the tower’s lightning ground. Other areas include Velehnyan, Bong County, Mecca Town, Bomi County, Ziah Town, Nimba County and Yerederbo Gbon, Maryland County respectively.

Residents in these towns can now make and receive calls, reconnecting with loved ones and accessing essential services.

Local leaders and residents have expressed gratitude to the Government through LTA for the prompt restoration and are hopeful for further upgrades to extend reliable service to nearby towns and villages.

The Liberia Telecommunications Authority remains committed to connecting communities and bringing reliable telecommunications to every corner of Liberia. This initiative demonstrates LTA’s dedication to improving the country’s telecommunications infrastructure and enhancing the lives of Liberians.
