MONROVIA,LIBERIA | January 11, 2025| The Liberia Petroleum Refining Company (LPRC) has officially opened the newly refurbished Logan Town Market, a significant step towards revitalizing local commerce in District #15, Montserrado County.
LPRC Managing Director Amos Tweh led the dedication ceremony at the weekend in Monrovia, announcing a generous interest-free loan of 500,000 Liberian dollars to support local marketers.
The refurbishment project was a collaborative effort, with LPRC covering 50% of the costs and Managing Director Tweh personally contributing the remaining half.
This initiative demonstrates LPRC’s commitment to community development and its leadership’s dedication to fostering economic growth.
“LPRC remains steadfast in its mission to support community development and promote economic empowerment,” said Managing Director Tweh.
The refurbished market, MD Tweh said will serve as a hub for local commerce, providing opportunities for vendors to thrive and contribute to the local economy.

For his part, LPRC Deputy Managing Director Eric Ceekay Sayee praised the project, highlighting its potential to strengthen the Logan Town community and support local vendors.
