Monrovia, Liberia-October 4, 2025- Medical Liberia recently conducted a one-day mentoring training for its Protection Network in Greenville, Sinoe County.

Held on October 1, 2025, the training focused on Sexual and Transactional Abuse (STA), Income Generating Activities (IGA), and Advocacy.

The training tended to equip community representatives with the knowledge and skills necessary to address protection for their communities. The training covered critical areas such as STA and IGA, providing participants with practical knowledge to promote safer and more resilient communities.

Participants expressed gratitude for the training and pledged to apply the lessons learned to strengthen awareness, prevention, and advocacy efforts in their communities. This initiative is part of Medical Liberia’s broader efforts to enhance community protection systems and encourage grassroots advocacy.

Madam Gloria Pantoe, a senior member of Medical Liberia, emphasized the importance of the training in building the capacity of community representatives to address protection-related issues. She expressed optimism that the knowledge gained will be used to empower others and promote safer communities.
