Monrovia, Tuesday, September 23, 2025- The National Performance Management Compliance System (PMCS) Monitoring Team concluded a long-day working session at the Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation (LWSC) on Monday, September 22, 2025. The session aimed to validate the Corporation’s progress in implementing PMCS targets.
The PMCS is a key component of President Joseph N. Boakai’s ARREST Agenda, focusing on accountability, responsiveness, and responsible governance. The system sets clear performance standards for ministries, agencies, and commissions, enabling real-time monitoring and accountability.
The evaluation session assessed the LWSC’s progress across five institutional targets: Developing Strategic Plan, Implementing Service Delivery Charter, Resource Mobilization, System Efficiency, and Institutional Capacity Building
The session identified areas of strength and weakness, outlined challenges, and set targets for the next quarter.
The PMCS monitoring and review process is conducted bi-annually, with reports submitted to the Office of the President. High-performing entities are recognized and awarded at the end of each year.
The PMCS Monitoring Team’s visit to LWSC demonstrates the government’s commitment to responsible governance and accountability. The team’s findings and recommendations will inform future decision-making and drive performance improvement across government institutions.
