River Gee County – [Sept. 1, 2025]- Gbeapo Tarken community is expected to benefit from a new elementary school following historic groundbreaking ceremony.  Gbeapo Tarken is located in Electoral District #2, River Gee County.

The construction of the school aims to address the current lack of educational facilities in the area, Youth Advocate, Randy Nuch Brickson announced during the ceremony marking the groundbreaking on August 31, 2025.

Youth Advocate Brickson put the cost of the project at $$14,750. As a native of the area, he emphasized the significance of providing children access to quality education and a conducive learning environment.

Drawing from his own childhood struggles to access educational resources in the community, Randy Nuch Brickson highlighted his commitment to supporting the next generation and giving back to his community.
